Welcome! As the owner of the Electronic Scribe Indexing Service, I offer back of the book and embedded indexing services to publishers and authors. I index books, periodicals, journals, newspapers and some computer media. For your convenience, I have placed my resume, a list of projects I've worked on and my general rates right here on my Web site. There are also samples of my work available for viewing. Please feel free to call me at 1-920-530-8917 or email me with any questions you may have. I look forward to discussing your project with you.

I offer superlative indexes on time, every time.

I provide both traditional back of the book and embedded indexing to both publishers and authors. My Bachelor of Science degree includes coursework in several areas: biology, botany, computer science, earth science, ecology, genetics, geology, medicine, microbiology, mycology, psychology, and plant pathology among others. I have formal indexing experience in all of these areas. I am a generalist, having studied in both the pre-medicine and botany programs at the University of Wisconsin. I still enjoy the beauty of Wisconsin from my home in Green Bay.

Additional interests and indexing experience include biographies, cooking, and history.  I have a passionate love for animals and some experience indexing veterinary texts. I have formal education in the martial arts of Aikido, Karate, and T’ai Chi Chuan. I apply that level of respect and discipline in all areas of my life, including my indexing. As the Zen saying teaches us, the way we do one thing is the way we do everything. I strive for quality in all areas of my life, and that attitude will benefit you as my client. I prefer long term relationships that serve both parties equally well although I’m very happy to work with single authors with exactly the same dedication to excellence.

With seventeen years of professional experience in the indexing field, I promise a superlative index on time, every time. Your project receives my full attention, benefitting from my wide scientific background and range of personal interests. Hiring a professional indexer is a significant investment, as you know, therefore it pays to hire one capable of handing your project in a professional manner. I am fully comfortable handling large projects in most scientific and medical fields of practice. I will consider rush jobs so please feel free to ask! My rates are highly competitive and I’m willing to negotiate on a case by case basis. The end result will be a high quality index at a price that’s fair to both of us.
